This is a heavy Hermann Oak saddle skirting rough out headstall with a split shaped ear and border tooling. It tapers from 1 1/2 inch at the poll to 1 inch at the bit and buckle end. It has Indian tan latigo ties and a handmade Marion Turner 1 inch buckle. The buckle is blued steel mounted with four pieces of German silver bars and is engraved with Texas style wriggling and wheat stalks. The headstall is hand cut and hand rubbed. It is adjustable from 32 to 42 inches from bit to bit.
