This little curb bit is made by long time well known maker Sam Jenkins out of Texico, New Mexico. Sam's work is sought after by cowboys and collectors alike. The bit has a rich patina starting to form but no pitting and there is still a lot of shine coming through the rust. It is mounted with 4 diamonds and 6 spots in German silver. The bit has a wide port and a good amount of mullen to the mouth. This Sam bit has as much feel and is as usable as any pattern that you will find from him.
